After three weeks in the US, I’m currently back in Aruba and ready to take this final quarter of 2024 by storm!

This trip was one that had so much significance for me because it presented me with some serious growth opportunities. 

Challenges are really disguised opportunities.

I was forced to reschedule fully paid in-person culinary experiences bookings I could and cancel those that couldn’t be rescheduled.

I’ve lost quite a bit of income in the process but a Mama puts the health and well being of her cub first. With ZERO regret.

Nevertheless, the same place I faced the greatest challenge, is the same place I got the biggest solution.

This whole experience also allowed me to find ways to make my offers even more exciting, as well as increase conversion on existing offers by adding a whole new suite of payment options.

So now we take Apple Pay, Amex, Google Pay, CashApp Pay, Affirm and Klarna and payment methods for China, Canada and Europe in addition to the regular Mastercard and Visa options I had before. I’m also considering settling up ACH on some offers.

And for my UAE and AUD clients and others in concentrated currency regions, I’m now able to offer dirham and Aussie Dollar payment options to you.

Make Building Block Lego Waffles- Best Kid Gift EVER! Join our 9yo as he unboxes and first uses his building blog lego waffle machine with his own waffle recipe from scratch! Makes a great gift for kids of all ages and families with one or multiple kids.

Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon almond extract OR vanilla extract (or you may do 1/2 teaspoon of both)
• 1/8 freshly grated nutmeg (or just a pinch)
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon plain oil or melted butter
• 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 cup self rising flour
• This recipe fills up the waffle machine once. One full machine can serve 2-4 kids depending on age and appetite. Increase recipe proportionate to the amount of servings needed.

Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk egg with spices.
2. Add milk, sugar and oil and whisk
3. Add flour and whisk.
4. Let it rest for a few minutes while the you plug in the waffle machine to heat up.
5. Pour the batter on the waffle being careful to pour in every building block but be careful not to fill up the blocks around the edges.
6. Get a parent to remove the waffles once cooked (both lights will come on).
7. Top with chocolate shavings, honey, maple syrup, whipped cream and strawberries, hazenut chocolate spread or your favourite toppings for a fancy kid-style brunch that even adults will enojy!
