Every time I sit to write here, I feel like one who has finally returned home after spending years away on a distant sojourn. I truly miss this space. And I also miss the community that I worked hard to create here. This has been an incredible creative outlet for me of the past 15 years. And blogging on a whole for the last 19. Yes, I have been at it THAT long. And now blogging is all about feeding SEO and that really hasn’t appealed to me. If you’re looking for recipes, check out my latest one here. Otherwise, follow me down this rabbit hole.
I just want to write and connect.
Writing is such an incredibly cathartic experience for me and I feel like the past few years I have been so busy trying to live that I just haven’t found the time.
Especially for writing recipe blog posts. It takes me at least four hours to create a recipe blog post and more to get it toactually do well. Raising my young child is still my number one priority. And the privilege that I have to do that alone comes at a hefty price as it regards the finite resources of my time and energy.
But I am still at core a creative who needs creative expression.
I have actually started shooting recipes for a cookbook but that’s on hold for now while I push other creative projects.
I am still writing creatively to my newsletter and to those on my email list. so if you haven’t yet joined the thousands who have subscribed, you’re properly missing out. But you can easily rectify that by registering here.
I also launched 2 seasons of my Thrive with Kari podcast, which ranked in the top 3 within 3o days of being on Apple Podcasts. I’m currently still in pre-production for that and aggressively raising funding. We’re excited to announce great changes coming up in Season 3 in keeping with the original vision. Sometimes, it just takes time. We were recently invited by Wharton Business School to be included in a study on podcasts. How phenomenal was that? I have added in dynamic elements and will resume schedule and for that to be continuous so essentially, no more seasons after this one. We plan to go to 52 episodes per year after this launch.
I also launched my Impactreneurs Membership Club a few years ago and invested heavily in that infrastructure in preparation for the capacity to scale my resources in my vision to “feed people and free people.” I have a blast helping you to build healthier and wealthier relationships with yourselves and others by feeding your body, soul, spirit and pocket.
Chef and Steward has always been about “Serving you the good life!” We do so in life and in business.
Launching Chef and Steward Experiences in Aruba and Internationally
Five years ago, we launched “Chef and Steward Experiences” as a division of our multi-faceted business. This stream has grown rapidly due to demand and quite organically. I haven’t had to run any adds to attract clients and end up having lots of repeats and referrals from clients. I have been blessed to get to work with a cadre of clients that I actually want to also do life with!
So far, the experiences have been in-person in Aruba but I also do cooking classes online. One repeat client was flying me to the states to develop a cooking experiencee to merge her German in-laws with her down-south American family, but I couldn’t travel at the time and I have another trip pending to do both a cooking class as well as share a sermon in Wisconsin USA where lots of my clients originate.

We have also conducted large corporate team building cooking classes in Aruba as well as fun relationship building experiences for large groups of families and friends.
I also have been specially invited by Mastercard to join their specially curated “Priceless” Experiences exclusively designed for their elite Mastercard cardholders. I designed a special “Come Dine with Me” experience just for them! And that is now live!
I also have a Booked, Sold & Busy Business Challenge coming up to help entrepreneurs, professionals, coaches, and content creators maximize their income through the strategies I have been implementing over the last 10 years in my business.
But I do want to hear from you. What do you think about traveling the world with Chef and Steward on Exclusive Culinary & Wellness Retreats? And where are some of the places you would want us to go together?

We'd love to hear from you..
