As long as you are guided by some principles. I would say look into the books I recommended on the “Why Low Carb” page. It is important that you do your research before you engage in any lifestyle change. Of course, you should also consult your physician. I suggest the “New Atkins for a New You” book as your guide but the others put the whole low carb science and low fat politics into perspective.
